MindShift Ruhr – Art x Science x City: New synergies for urban transformation
Date of the event: June 26th 2026
The fourth edition of Transformation Talks builds on the ideas from last year’s MindShift Ruhr event. This year, however, the focus is on the intersection of art, culture, science and urban development, with a view to discussing the potential leverage that artistic practices can provide for urban transformation processes.
The event centres on the following questions: How can aesthetic practices, cultural formats and the production of scientific knowledge interact synergistically to open up new possibilities for sustainable urban and regional development? What role do collective learning, new narratives and experimental spaces play in this?
