The thematic issue "The Future of Inner Cities" (German Topic: Zukunft der Innenstädte)

, published in time for the German Congress of Geography in Frankfurt am Main, was coordinated by Prof. Matthias Kiese and practice partner Heiner Schote from the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. In this issue, 28 authors* deal with the questions 'How can a sustainable and crisis-proof inner city be designed?' or 'What works how and under which conditions?' in eight expert and five practice contributions, among others.
