Symposium Scripting Futures for Urban Sustainability / Aurora Fellow - 60 participants were present!
The two-day symposium “Scripting Futures for Urban Sustainability was the final symposium of the City Scripts Graduate Research Group, funded by the Volkswagen Foundation. It was also the kick-off for the Healthy Cities Initiative launched by the Aurora Transdisciplinary Educational Hubs Culture & Health & Well-Being.
The symposium brought together researchers, students, and professionals from the humanities, social sciences, and medical fields to explore the significant role of storytelling in urban planning and sustainability. Discussions focused on how narratives can influence urban change and the potential impact of concrete changes in urban health management, sports, and planning practices on social transformation.
A highlight of the event was the public lecture by Professor Marcus Zepf, Co-Director of E-City, Université Paris-Est Créteil, on “Adaptable and Healthy Cities: Permanent Autopoietic Process”.
