EMSCHERGENOSSENSCHAFT<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Emschergenossenschaft and the Competence Field for Metropolitan Research (KoMet) have been working closely together since 2017 to provide scientific support for the transformation of the Emscher region. Through several Memoranda of Understanding, collaborations have been established in the areas of knowledge transfer, transformative research, support for early-career researchers, and teaching-research projects. With the second MoU, the collaboration was extended through 2026, allowing for further deepening of the partnership.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

NRW.BANK<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Since late 2022, NRW.BANK has been providing financial support for the field of metropolitan research. The partnership focuses on supporting specialized event formats, particularly the KoMet Days. By co-hosting these events, the transfer of knowledge from metropolitan research into social practice is specifically strengthened and further expanded.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

REGIONALVERBAND RUHR (RVR)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In July 2024, the Regionalverband Ruhr and KoMet renewed their partnership in the \u201cRuhr Innovation Space\u201d through a memorandum of understanding. The goal is to intensify and sustain their collaboration in the areas of knowledge transfer, transformative research, and the support of students and early-career researchers over the long term.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

VERKEHRSVERBUND RHEIN-RUHR (VRR)<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr is collaborating with KoMet to provide academic support for transformation processes in the mobility sector of the Ruhr region. This collaboration brings together existing research activities under a shared focus on \u201cmobility\u201d and encompasses not only research projects but also university teaching and the application of scientific findings in practice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
