Prof. Dr. Marcus Zepf, Professor of Urban Planning and former Dean of the École d’Urbanisme de Paris at the Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), will be the UDE Aurora Fellow in the Health and Well-being research and teaching cluster of the European Aurora Universities during the summer semester of 2024 (visiting UDE from June 3 to 14, 2024). The hosts are the interdisciplinary trio of Prof. Dr. Susanne Moebus, Institute for Urban Public Health, University Hospital Essen; Prof. Dr. Anke Hinney, Institute for Gender-Sensitive Medicine, University Hospital Essen; and Prof. Dr. Barbara Buchenau, North American Studies, Faculty of Humanities at UDE. Simone Raskob, Deputy Mayor of the City of Essen (GB6: Environment, Transportation, Sports), supports the fellowship in integrating the regional context and relevant fields of research-driven professional practice.
