LOCATION-special issue on “the future of cities”
The special issue “The Future of City Centers,” published just in time for the German Geography Congress in Frankfurt am Main (2023), was coordinated by Prof. Matthias Kiese and industry partner Heiner Schote from the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. In this issue, 28 authors address questions such as “How can a sustainable and crisis-resilient city center be designed?” and “What works, how, and under what conditions?” in eight academic and five practical articles.
