On November 10, two evening lectures were held for the general public:
PD Dr. Beate Löffler (TU Dortmund): “Architectural Cultural Transfer: From Japan to North Rhine-Westphalia” and
Prof. Katja Schmidtpott (RUB): “Tange Kenzô, the Metabolists, and Ruhr University Bochum”
This year’s AREA Day marked the kickoff of an annual event in which AREA Ruhr will explore the East Asian heritage in North Rhine-Westphalia.
